Badges
Badges can be produced in two different ways. The most obvious way to make badges is by using badge material . This is a polyester/cotton fabric with a backing on the back end that allows for a strong under base for the badge. This fabric does not allow for complex cutting shapes as this has to be done manually.
For the second option we work with a tear-able, heat-soluble backing. The design is embroidered on this material, where the unused fabric can be teared-off easily. This technique is, due to the materials used, slightly more expensive, but does allow us to make more complex shapes. We do however advice to only work with smaller formats.
All these badges are delivered without heat-seal backing and are only meant for sew on purposes. In case you want to heat press your badges we advise you to go to our menu option ‘embroidery badges with heat-seal backing’.
Foam - 3D Foam
3D foam is used to give 3D volume to an embroidered logo, mostly in text formats, initials, or to emphasize a detail in a design.
This material is only used with satin stitching (zigzag stitching) with a minimum stitch length of 2mm and a maximum stitch length of 8 to 9mm. You hereby cannot fill up full shapes with this technique.
Due to the thick, stiffer shape of the material, we advise to not use this technique on thinner textiles such as t-shirts, polo’s, button-up shirts and lightweight jackets.
Application
With application a piece of fabric, usually polyester cotton, or another material, is processed and stitched in the design. This piece of fabric is manually cut off and does not allow complex shapes.

- Wij werken met een minimaal aantal van 6 stuks voor borduurwerk.
- De prijs voor borduurwerk hangt af van het aantal steken die nodig zijn voor uw gewenste ontwerp. Dit wil zeggen; hoe minder steken, hoe lager de prijs.
- We rekenen een éénmalige kost voor het opmaken van uw borduurprogramma.
- Lever het ontwerp altijd aan in drievoud (als dat mogelijk is): Illustrator (.ai / .eps), pdf en jpg (ter controle).
Uw bestelling doorgeven
- Bezorg ons een vectorieel bestand of een bestand met een minimum van 300 dpi in jpg of tiff.
- Bezorg ons een digitaal voorbeeld via onze template. Zo kunnen we het logo zo gedetailleerd mogelijk plaatsen.
Illustrator
(.ai / .eps / .pdf bestanden)
- Maak het bestand op in PMS (Pantone kleuren), inclusief wit;
- Lever ook de lettertypes in outlines en het font aan;
- Schakel de transparantie uit (Zorg voor geen overlapping van zwart);
- Bewaar geen jpg als pdf, want dan is het geheel niet vectorieel.
Photoshop
- Bezorg ons een Photoshop bestand met lagen;
- Bezorg een tiff of psd bestand;
- Lever de gebruikte fonts mee of zet de typografie om in lettercontouren;
- Lever het bestand in ware grootte aan: 1/1 of groter;
- Zorg voor een resolutie van 300 dpi.
